Mardom in The Polish Wood Industry Trade Mission to Dubai

At the beginning of April took place The Polish Wood Industry Trade Mission to United Arab Emirates. It was organized by The Polish Economic Chamber of Wood Industry. Participants took part in Dubai WoodShow fair. There were also numerous lectures on, inter alia,  investment opportunities in a special economic zone. All this was carefully examined by the owners, Barbara and Jan Walaszek.

The participants of the mission were welcomed by Dawood Al Shezawi, the director of WoodShow fair. Representatives of Polish companies took part in B2B missions. They were also greeted by Dubai Economic Chamber and had the opportunity to visit and familiarize themselves with the offer of a special economic zone in Ras Al Khaimah. A lot of companies and institutions from Dubai came to meet Polish entrepreneurs. The ninth Dubai WoodShow is the biggest wood industry event in the Middle East. It gathers together representatives of  wood industry and wood processing companies from all over the world, especially buyers from around the Persian Gulf.   It is an excellent opportunity to tighten the international cooperation with local wood recipients regarding EXPO 2020.

It is worth mentioning that ZEA has been one big construction place for many years. There are many investments being made here – from office tower blocks and hotels to airports. It determines the demand for finishing materials made of wood. Furniture industry is growing here too.  

The invitation of The Polish Economic Chamber of Wood Industry was answered by numerous companies from the whole country. Dubai became the destination for Aspi, Fenix Metal, Poltarex and Mardom. The Mission was held under a honorary patronage of the Polish Embassy in United Arab Emirates.
